Yemen closes all airports until further notice after Sanaa bombing

Yemen’s civil aviation authority has ordered the closure of all airports to air traffic until further notice. Yemen’s internationally recognised government said its forces carried out a strike on Sanaa airport to prevent an Iranian aircraft from landing there. “The Houthi terrorist militia, supported by the Iranian regime, prevented Yemeni national aircraft from landing at the capital’s airport, Sanaa, and insisted that the Iranian aircraft violate Yemeni airspace. Qatar Airways repatriation flights to five European cities announced for March 7

Qatar Airways has announced it will operate a series of special repatriation flights on 7 March, following temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirming a safe operating corridor. The flights will depart from Hamad international airport in Doha to the following destinations: London Heathrow (LHR), Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Madrid Barajas (MAD), Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Frankfurt (FRA). Flight operations resume at Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot airports

Flight operations have resumed at Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot airports, according to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). However, Karachi Airport remains closed for flight operations due to the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India. Earlier, a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) had been issued, suspending flight operations at Karachi and three other airports until 6 PM. Iran cancels flights from all airports until Monday morning

Iran's civil aviation authority has suspended all flights from airports until Monday morning, the country's state media has reported. An order from Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation cancelled flights from 9pm local time on Sunday until 6am. Oman opens its airspace for Israel

It emerged that Israeli airlines could now fly over Oman after the Gulf nation opened its airspace for all carriers that met the civil aviation authority’s requirements. Oman opens airspace for Israeli airline

Dubai: Oman's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that the Gulf Arab state's airspace would be open for all civilian carriers. The move would enable Israeli airlines to utilize a Saudi-Oman corridor to cut flight times to Asia. "Enforcing international and local requirements against discrimination in dealing with civilian aircraft, the Civil Aviation Authority confirms that the sultanate's airspace is open to all carriers that meet the requirements of overflying," the CAA said in a statement posted on its Twitter account. Sialkot International Airport closed for 16 days

Sialkot: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has confirmed that the Sialkot International Airport will remain closed for sixteen days in December over maintenance. According to the Civil Aviation announcement, the airport will remain closed from December 5 to December 20 due to runway maintenance. ICAO Ban may not be lifted

It emerged on Friday that the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) had issued a serious warning to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan against their pilot licensing problem. The organization claimed that Pakistan had failed to meet international standards as required by ICAO.
