Fight breaks out at one of UK's biggest mosques

The Charity Commission is investigating claims of misuse of more than £1m and corruption at one of the UK’s biggest mosques, Hounslow Jamia Masjid & Islamic Centre in West London. A viral video footage shows worshippers and the mosque management, who are mostly Pakistanis, getting into a brawl inside the mosque, amid accusations of harassment, abuse, intimidation, shoving, punching, and violence. Clinics shut down and aid warehouse raided as Israel intensifies attacks on Deir Al Balah

A British charity has accused Israel of “accelerating the systemic dismantling” of Gaza's healthcare system after its clinic in Deir Al Balah was forced to close as Israel widens its military offensive. Medical Aid for Palestinians' staff were given only six hours to evacuate by the Israelis, according to Liz Allcock, the charity's head of humanitarian protection. Israeli authorities block access to water by cutting electricity and fuel from entering Gaza, warns charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF), amid a shattered ceasefire and more deaths. "As Israeli forces continue to rain down bombs on the Strip, MSF calls for the ceasefire to be immediately restored and for Israeli authorities to allow electricity to flow, along with the entry of aid, including fuel, and water and sanitation supplies, to avoid further loss of life," the organisation said. Polio vaccinations ‘not enough’ for malnourished children: Save the Children

The global charity for children has released a statement saying more than 590,000 kids are to receive polio vaccinations in Gaza, where “tens of thousands of children have missed routine immunizations” during 16 months of the Israeli war. Ahmad Alhendawi, Middle East regional director of Save the Children, said although this vaccination campaign is “a crucial step”, it is still “not enough” because thousands of children have missed out on essential vaccines, are malnourished and are living in dire conditions. Aid entering Gaza ‘insufficient’: Global charity

Removing Palestinians amounts to 'ethnic cleansing': UK charity

UK-based charity Medical Aid for Palestinians has condemned as "ethnic cleansing" US President Donald Trump's proposal to remove Palestinians from Gaza. "Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people, not the United States or Israel, and this move would be tantamount to ethnic cleansing and a war crime," MAP's interim chief executive Steve Cutts said. World Central Kitchen allows Israeli security checks of employees

World Central Kitchen said an Israeli security check of its employees in Gaza has prompted the charity to make changes so that it can continue feeding people in the Palestinian territory. The charity said it “felt this step was necessary to protect our team and operations” after a November 30 Israeli air strike on a car in Gaza killed five people, including a WCK worker. WCK charity 'pausing operations'

US charity World Central Kitchen has said it was "pausing operations in Gaza at this time" after an Israeli air strike hit a vehicle carrying its workers. WCK said it was “heartbroken” by the attack. MSF surgeon detained by Israel in north Gaza hospital raid

Medical charity Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) has said that one of its doctors working in a north Gaza hospital has been detained by Israeli forces. Mohammed Obeid, an MSF orthopaedic surgeon working at Kamal Adwan Hospital, was detained during an Israeli military raid on the site last week, MSF said.
