89 terrorists arrested over 3 months across Punjab: CTD

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 89 terrorists in 940 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) launched across Punjab over the past three months, the department said in a statement on Monday. There has been a recent uptick in terror attacks in Pakistan over the past year. The CTD regularly carries out operations to prevent and investigate terrorism-related activities and gather intelligence. CTD foils terror bid, arrests four terrorists in Sukkur

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday foiled a major terrorist attack bid as four terrorists were arrested and explosives were recovered near Sindh’s Rohri. TTP operative involved in Data Darbar blast arrested

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Rangers on Thursday arrested an active operative of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a joint operation in Nawal Colony, Karachi. According to CTD officials, the arrested TTP operative identified as Mir Wais was involved in two separate blasts occurred at the FC check post and Data Darbar. CTD arrests five target killers in Peshawar

CTD arrests five terrorists in Punjab IBOs

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday arrested five terrorists during different intelligence-based operations across the Punjab. As per details, the CTD carried out 70 operations in Punjab and arrested five terrorists who were identified as Sharafat, Yaseen, Talha, Abdurehman and Usaid. The CTD spokesperson said that explosives, two IED bombs, 10 detonators, weapons and cash were recovered from the terrorists who were arrested in the operations carried out in Mianwali, Jehlum, Hafizabad and Okara. ‘Afghan-trained’ militants arrested in Karachi

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh police on Thursday foiled a terror bid by arresting two hardcore ‘Afghan-trained’ militants from Karachi.
