Pakistan welcomes COP27's "loss and damage" fund

Islamabad: On November 20, Pakistan welcomed a UN climate summit's initiative to set up a "loss and damage" fund for vulnerable countries. Germany's Scholz demands freedom of Egyptian hunger striker

On Nov 8, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he had raised the issue of the jailed hunger striker Alaa Abd el-Fattah during his visit to the COP27 climate summit in Egypt. Bilwal Zardari lauds inclusion of climate crisis cost in COP27 agenda
