Chemical tanker hit by explosion off Omani coast

The chemical tanker Stolt Magnesium caught fire on Tuesday following the "explosion of an unidentified external device" as it was sailing in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Oman, according to its manager Stolt Tankers, the main unit of Norwegian shipping company Stolt-Nielsen's. 40 days on, Pakistani crew members remain held by Somali pirates

Nearly a dozen Pakistani crew members taken hostage by Somali pirates aboard an oil tanker remain in captivity 40 days after the vessel was hijacked off the Somali coast. According to diplomatic sources, the tanker, Honour 25, was seized by pirates on April 21 while sailing near Somalia. Two injured after residential building in Oman targeted  

Two people were injured when a residential building was targeted in Oman's Bukha along the coastline of the Strait of Hormuz, state media reported on Monday.
