PML-Q 'suspends' CM Elahi's basic membership

The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Monday suspended the basic party membership of Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi for talking about the possibility of his party's possible merger with the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). CM Elahi 'signs' summary for Punjab Assembly's dissolution

Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi signed the summary for the dissolution of the provincial assembly. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry made the announcement and called the centre to hold snap polls across the country. Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry has announced to challenge the de-notification of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi by Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman. Punjab governor denotifies CM Elahi

Lahore: It is reported late on Thursday night that Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman has denotified the Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi for not seeking the vote of confidence despite his advice.
