ECP restores BAP electoral symbol

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored ‘Cow’ as the electoral symbol of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). On 9th January, the ECP allotted the BAP “Eye’ as an electoral symbol for the upcoming general elections 2024 whereas the party requested for restoration of its traditional symbol ‘Cow’. Abdul Quddus Bizenjo announces to join PPP

Former chief minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has announced to join Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), confirming his decision to quit Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). In a statement, the former Balochistan chief minister said that he will join PPP accompanied by his colleagues. Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, to be sworn in today as Balochistan CM

Mir Abdul Qaddoos Bizenjo, the leader of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Balochistan today (Friday) at 4 p.m. at the Governor House in Quetta. Governor Syed Zahoor Agha will swear in Bizenjo, who was elected Chief Minister of Balochistan without opposition. The news comes just one day after Bizenjo earned the support of PTI legislative leader Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, who announced his withdrawal from the campaign and endorsement of Bizenjo for Chief Minister. Zahoor Buledi takes charge as interim BAP president

Quetta: Zahoor Buledi, Provincial Minister, has taken charge as the acting president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). "Alhamdulillah honoured to be nominated as Acting President of BAP after resignation of party President Jam Kamal Khan," announced Buledi on Twitter. Displeased BAP members demand CM's resignation

It was reported that the disgruntled members of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) demanded CM Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan Alyani's resignation by Wednesday evening. On Tuesday, Finance Minister of Balochistan, Zahoor Buledi (among the disgruntled members) said that 14 to 15 BAP members along with other parties' members showed a lack of confidence in the CM. Balochistan Awami Party's Intra Elections to be held next month

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has announced that the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) will hold intra-party elections next month. Despite the difficulties in the new party, which performed well to serve the people, the Balochistan Chief Minister said on social media that the three-year presidency of the party was a source of pride and honour for him.
