12-year-old girl allegedly raped at gunpoint in Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur: In another horrific incident of sexual assault, a 12-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a labourer at gunpoint. According to details, the incident took place in Chaweka tehsil, where a labourer, identified as Yousuf, raped the girl. While the accused along with his armed accomplice fled from the scene after the crime. The girl was later shifted to District Hospital for medical treatment. Lt Gen Faiz Hameed appointed Bahawalpur corps commander: ISPR

Rawalpindi: On Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed had been posted as commander of the Bahawalpur corps. In a statement, the military's media wing announced two new appointment's apart from Lt Gen Hameed, who was previously posted as the commander of the Peshawar corps. Lockdown imposed in 11 districts of Punjab

The government has imposed lockdown in 11 districts of Punjab: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Khanewal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, and Rahimyar Khan.
