Bahrain's Bapco Energies declares force majeure

Bahrain's Bapco Energies has declared force majeure after a recent attack on its refinery complex. The company "hereby serves notice of force majeure on its group operations, which have been affected by the ongoing regional conflict in the Middle East and the recent attack on its Refinery complex", it said in a statement. "The company clarified that all local market needs are fully secured according to the proactive plans in place, ensuring the continuity of supplies and meeting local demand without impact," it added. ECP restores BAP electoral symbol

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored ‘Cow’ as the electoral symbol of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). On 9th January, the ECP allotted the BAP “Eye’ as an electoral symbol for the upcoming general elections 2024 whereas the party requested for restoration of its traditional symbol ‘Cow’. Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi scored a goal each as league leaders Paris Saint-Germain profited from a red card to beat second-place Lens 3-1 and move nine points clear at the top. Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, to be sworn in today as Balochistan CM

Mir Abdul Qaddoos Bizenjo, the leader of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Balochistan today (Friday) at 4 p.m. at the Governor House in Quetta. Governor Syed Zahoor Agha will swear in Bizenjo, who was elected Chief Minister of Balochistan without opposition. The news comes just one day after Bizenjo earned the support of PTI legislative leader Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, who announced his withdrawal from the campaign and endorsement of Bizenjo for Chief Minister. Zahoor Buledi takes charge as interim BAP president
