Five from one family among several killed in Israeli strikes

At least nine Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip, official news agency Wafa has reported. A medical source at Al Shifa hospital said five people from one family were killed and several more were injured in a strike on a house in Al Karama area in Gaza city. Palestinian Red Crescent evacuates 30 patients from northern Gaza

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says it has evacuated 15 patients and their 16 companions from Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza to Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza city in co-ordination with the World Health Organisation. “Additionally, 15 patients and two companions were evacuated from Al Awda Hospital to Al Shifa Hospital, in co-ordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross,” it said on X. Gaza's Al Shifa Hospital re-opens emergency department after brutal Israeli attack

Al Shifa Hospital, the biggest in Gaza, has reopened its emergency department five months after it was besieged and attacked by Israeli forces. Using salvaged equipment, medical staff at the complex in Rimal, Gaza city, will again be able to offer emergency treatment to Palestinians in northern Gaza, as Israeli attacks on the enclave continue. Benny Gantz against release of Al Shifa hospital director

A Palestinian doctor, Mustafa Jawad Siyam, who was detained in an Israeli prison, stated that he was subjected to physical and psychological torture during the Israeli army's occupation of Gaza's al Shifa Hospital in March. Dead bodies recovered from Al Shifa Hospital mass grave

At least 10 bodies were recovered from a mass grave at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza city, the enclave's health authorities said. The bodies were buried outside the reception area of Gaza's largest hospital, said Dr Moatasem Salah, a member of the emergency operations centre in the Health Ministry.
