Houthi cruise missile breaches Israeli air defenses for first time

Israel night confirmed a Houthi cruise missile had landed near the city of Eilat in the country’s south, the first time the group successfully breached Israeli air defenses. “A cruise missile coming from the direction of the Red Sea fell in an open area, the target was being monitored by Air Force forces,” said a statement from the Israeli military. Syria intercepts several Israeli rockets

Syria’s military said its air defense system downed a number of Israeli rockets early this morning, according to a statement published by the Syrian news agency (Sana). “At approximately 4:20 am today, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points south of Damascus,” the military said. Israel's army says intercepted 'missile' from Red Sea region

Israel's air defense systems intercepted a missile launched from the Red Sea region at Israel on Tuesday, the Israeli military said. Fighter jets also shot down other targets in the area, the military added. Earlier on Tuesday, Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels said they fired drones towards Israel in retaliation for its war against Hamas. 900 US troops heading to Middle East to bolster defenses as attacks surge

About 900 more US troops have arrived in the Middle East or are heading there to bolster air defenses for US personnel amid a surge in attacks, the Pentagon said on Thursday. US prepares defense systems 'throughout' Middle East

The Pentagon stepped up its military readiness in the Middle East, ordering the activation of air defenses "throughout" the region and bringing additional US forces to an alert. Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin said that the moves were in response to "recent escalations by Iran and its proxy forces across the Middle East". Ukraine downs 24 drones launched by Russia: Military

Ukraine's air defenses downed 24 of 29 Russian drones launched in attacks on its territory overnight, the Ukrainian general staff said on Thursday. Ukraine's Air Force said that the drones were destroyed over southern Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, as well as central Kirohovrad region.
