The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Iran’s “heinous” attacks on the kingdom and on other Gulf countries, warning that Iran would have the most to lose if attacks continue. The statement came after two people were killed in an Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia on Sunday. In a strongly worded statement, the ministry said Iran’s actions against its neighbours were “unacceptable under any circumstances” and reaffirmed the kingdom’s rights to take any measures it deemed necessary.
