On Thursday, the value of the rupee increased up to 80 Paisa against the Dollar as compared to 170.7 rupees on Wednesday. Secretary-general of exchange companies, Zafar Paracha, stated that the decrease in the value of the Dollar occurred due to the intervention of the State Bank of Pakistan. He added that he hoped for further improvement, an increase in supply, and a decrease in demand.
