Work on Indian projects in Afghanistan was halted over security and political situation, Indian media reported, citing Afghanistan’s External Affairs Ministry. Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economy on Thursday said that the resumption of development projects in the country would create job opportunities for people across the country. “Resumption of development projects will enhance economic development, reduce poverty, and increase jobs,” Deputy Minister of Economy Abdul Latif Nazari said.
