Melbourne: It emerged on Jan 9, the legal representatives of the Australian government said in a court filing that the government had not assured tennis star Novak Djokovic of medical exemption. Djokovic alleged that he was granted a medical exemption by the govt to enter Australia without a COVID-19 vaccination. The filing ahead of a court hearing on Monday was in defense of the government’s decision to ban entry of the world’s number one player over his COVID-19 vaccination status.
