Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman has welcomed a UN Security Council statement condemning Israel’s “treacherous” attack on a Hamas delegation in Doha. Five of the group’s members and a Qatari security force member were killed in the strike on Tuesday. Sheikh Mohammed said Israel’s attack took place in a neighbourhood had contains schools, embassies and homes. “I affirmed in the Security Council that this attack undermines the international system,” he said in a statement.
