GCC and Russia condemn Israeli attack on Doha

The Gulf Co-operation Council and Russia have condemned Israel’s strike against Hamas leaders in Doha during a meeting of foreign ministers in Sochi. In a joint statement issued by the GCC General Secretariat, they said the Israeli attack endangered the lives of civilians and constituted “a grave violation of international humanitarian law”. They described it as a “deliberate undermining of diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region”.
