It emerged on Tuesday that Qatar, one of the world’s top natural gas exporters, would not be able to unilaterally meet Europe’s energy needs. The country’s minister of state for energy Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said that the Ukraine-Russia crisis heavily impacted the existing supplies. He also expressed, “tensions in Europe can be resolved diplomatically so that all suppliers can work together to ensure energy security for the short- and long-terms”.
