Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari claimed on Thursday that the PTI-led government had threatened him with martial law if the PDM did not agree to immediate elections in the country just a day before the no-confidence vote against then-Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Bilawal Bhutto stated the threatening message was sent to him by a PTI minister during a National Assembly session today. The foreign minister, although criticising the previous government, stated that the new coalition government believed in democracy and fair elections.
