According to Baaghi TV., major political parties in Karachi, in solidarity with the Karachi University Teachers Association (KUTS), have requested that the Sindh government turn the varsity into an autonomous organization that can handle all of its business on its own.

The teachers’ union has been condemning the attitude of the secretary of universities and boards, as well as the provincial government’s inability to intervene.
