Poland confirmed that one of its citizens was killed in a strike on a World Central Kitchen aid convoy in Deir Al Balah, Gaza, on Monday night. Seven people died in the strike after the team left an aid warehouse, despite the journey having been co-ordinated with the Israeli army, World Central Kitchen said on Tuesday. “Poland objects to the disregard for international humanitarian law and the protection of civilians, including humanitarian workers,” the Polish Foreign Ministry.
