A foreign airline passenger plane was attacked by a bird near the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on Tuesday, narrowly avoiding an accident.

The Istanbul-bound plane, which had roughly 350 passengers on board, was hit by a bird as soon as it took off from the airport. The pilot, on the other hand, was able to spin the jet around and safely land it at the airport.

The airline agreed to the passengers’ request and arranged lodging arrangements for them. It also guaranteed passengers that they will be rebooked on another trip to Istanbul and that their PCR test fees would be returned.
