Patients have fled Deir Al Balah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital as the surrounding area was declared a military zone, Gaza’s Health Ministry stated. The facility is treating about 100 patients, including seven in intensive care, it said. The declaration of a “military operations zone caused panic among patients and the escape of a number of them from the hospital for fear of repeating the storming scenario of the hospital”.
