Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that the government is fully aware of the impact of inflation on the poor, since commodity prices are rising around the world as a result of the pandemic, and is taking initiatives to alleviate the situation, such as the newly announced Rs120 billion package.

The prime minister said his government’s objective was to uplift the people and provinces that fall behind in development while speaking at a ceremony after breaking ground on a 200-bed mother and child hospital in Attock on Friday.
