The Palestinian Red Crescent successfully evacuated 24 people from Al Amal hospital in Khan Younis on Sunday, after an Israeli siege on the center that lasted more than a month. The evacuees include “18 patients and wounded individuals, with eight requiring urgent surgical intervention”, the Red Crescent said. “Logistical supplies, food, and water were also delivered to the hospital,” the Red Crescent said – after reporting to The National that medical crews were having to resort to baking inside the hospital and surviving on canned goods.
