Husam Zomlot, head of the Palestinian mission to the UK, welcomed an announcement by the US State Department saying it will impose visa restrictions on Israeli settlers involved in undermining peace, security or stability in the occupied West Bank. Calling it a “step in the right direction”, Zomlot also stressed that “all illegal colonial settlers, including dual nationals, the state that sponsors and enables them, and the organisations that fund them, must be sanctioned”.
