South Korean company Samsung signed an agreement with Pakistani local firm Lucky Mortar Corporation to start up a mobile phone manufacturing plant in Pakistan. This initiative was taken to fulfill the local demand for Samsung smartphones after Samsung got 164 million subscribers from Pakistan. Minister for energy, Hamad Azhar congratulated LMC and Samsung for beginning this new business set up in Pakistan.
