Overnight Russian attacks on the northern region of Chernihiv caused large fires to break out in infrastructure facilities, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine says. In a post on Facebook, the service said that the fires broke out following Russian attacks on in Chernihiv city and Koriukivka. Emergency services worked to extinguish the flames as Russian strikes continued on the sites, complicating their efforts, the statement said.
