Israeli forces have shot and severely injured a 12-year-old boy during an incursion in the city of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank, according to the Wafa news agency. The boy, who was shot in the head, has been hospitalised for treatment, Wafa cites the Palestinian Red Crescent Society as saying. The report says Israeli forces have been raiding the town since the early morning, searching residents’ homes and firing live ammunition and rubber bullets.
