The case was heard by a three-member bench led by Justice Umar Atabandial. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah inquired as to where Ismat Jaffer was referenced in the Islamabad High Court’s judgment. The ruling of the High Court included no reference of Ismat Jaffer, according to Justice Umar Ata Bandial. According to the lawyer, Zahir Jaffar was charged with murder. At the time of the murder, his parents were in Karachi. Justice Umar Ata Bandial made a comment. “We’re just trying to figure out what’s going on,” he explained.

While speaking, Justice Qazi Amin stated that the murder of Noor Muqaddam is a very tragic occurrence, that we sympathize with the victim’s family, and that we are gathering information to better understand the facts of the case.
