France’s president says he is “very sceptical” about the possibility of “short-term peace” in Ukraine. “I am very sceptical, to say the least, about the prospect of achieving short-term peace,” he said. “It is good to continue these peace talk initiatives but there is no willingness on the Russian side to achieve peace,” he added.
