Chinese President Xi Jinping has departed Beijing for Washington to meet US President Donald Trump amid efforts to ease tensions between the world’s two largest economies. The talks are expected to cover trade, artificial intelligence, Iran and Taiwan. Xi and Trump will also attend a White House ceremony and state dinner during the Chinese leader’s visit.
