Israeli minister claims senior Hamas member arrested in Gaza City

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz says a senior Hamas member has been captured during attacks on Gaza City. Attacks in Gaza City have killed at least four Palestinians, including two children and a woman, since this morning. Katz did not provide further details about the person’s identity or the circumstances of the reported capture. An Israeli security source, cited by the Times of Israel, claimed the person was the head of Hamas’s internal security apparatus.
