QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday announced that a major road in Duki district would be named after Dr Mahnoor Nasir in recognition of her bravery, resilience and medical services. The 29-year-old doctor was seriously injured in an acid attack at Quetta’s Civil Hospital in June. Police later identified the alleged attacker as Humayun Shah, who was killed in an encounter while reportedly attempting to flee after the incident.
