Electoral Reforms Panel Awaits Opposition’s Response

Ruling coalition parties have submitted nominees for a proposed 30-member parliamentary committee on electoral reforms, while the PTI and JUI-F are yet to finalise their representatives. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said the PPP would receive seven seats and the PML-N ten. The PTI has expressed doubts about the government’s intentions, insisting on meaningful representation and measures to prevent election rigging.
