The Pakistan Bar Council said degrees of elected members, including Bhoon, were verified through relevant universities under the prescribed procedure. It said verification was conducted after the 2020 elections and again following the 2025 polls, with some previously verified degrees also sent to universities and the Higher Education Commission for rechecking. The clarification follows recent calls for lawyers’ degree verification.
