Saudi, Lebanese officials discuss ties and regional developments

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The two discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen co-operation in various fields, as well as the latest regional developments, according to a readout from the Saudi Foreign Ministry. Prince Faisal praised the Lebanese government’s efforts to preserve the state and its national institutions, saying they would contribute to regional security and stability.
