Iran’s reimposition of restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz is a direct consequence of ceasefire violations by the United States, an analyst says. “The strait was to be opened on the basis of the ceasefire terms. The US blockade is itself a violation of the ceasefire terms,” Professor Mostafa Khoshcheshm told Al Jazeera from Tehran.
