The Lahore High Court has sought a response from Punjab’s home secretary on a petition challenging the 30-day detention of PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan under the MPO Ordinance. The court issued the notice after the government said a review hearing was already scheduled. Aleema’s lawyer also raised concerns about her access to medicines and essential items in jail.
