Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to pray inside mosques, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), which changed COVID-19 regulations on Saturday.

After Pakistan recorded its highest daily infection count of 7,678 since the pandemic began in 2020, the NCOC altered mosque protocols.

On Friday, the agency in charge of Pakistan’s COVID-19 response declared that all schools in the country with a high COVID-19 positive rate will be closed for one week.
