The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has released COVID-19 SOPs for majalis and processions in the month of Muharram. To stem the surge in COVID-19 positivity rate, NCOC ordered authorities to avoid private majalis at homes. Sanitizers and masks will be provided and all Muharram-related events will be held in open-air and ventilated areas.
