Muslim students in India were reportedly protesting against Hindu plans to close educational doors under the cover of hijab, according to reports. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has stated that in India, girls are being denied access to education due to hijab. Human rights organisations should not remain silent in the face of this incident and should raise their voices in support of these girls studying in India.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi remarked, “Our concern is no longer restricted to occupied Kashmir; the crimes in Kashmir have drawn the world’s attention.”
