Mediators Qatar, Egypt and the US have responded to Israel and Hamas with an updated version of the ceasefire and hostage release deal, sources told Axios. “The mediators believe recent concessions from Israel, which are incorporated into the updated proposal, could enable the parties to reach a deal soon,” it quoted the sources as saying.
