On Thursday, India’s Virat Kohli smashed his first Twenty20 international century in the Asia Cup Super Four contest against Afghanistan. He reached the milestone with a four and six off Afghanistan pace bowler Fareed Ahmad to get a ton after nearly three years. Kohli, who has not scored an international century since November 2019, then relinquished the Test leadership in January as Rohit Sharma became captain across all formats.
