Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded in Israeli strikes on Al Bureij refugee camp and Rafah on Sunday, the Wafa news agency reported. Three people were killed in a strike on a home in Bureij, it said, with two others killed in Rafah’s Tal Al Sultan neighbourhood. Israel has intensified strikes on central Gaza, Wafa added, a day after more than 200 people were killed in strikes on the area as forces rescued four hostages from Nuseirat refugee camp.
