The Israeli army has ordered Palestinians in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza to leave the area. “Hamas and terrorist organisations are firing rockets from your area towards the State of Israel,” the army’s Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee wrote on social media site X. “The IDF will act forcefully and immediately against them,” he said. “For your safety, evacuate immediately to the known shelters in the centre of Gaza city,” he added.
