Israeli military intercepts drone over Syria

A drone launched from the east towards Israeli territory was intercepted over Syria, the Israeli military said, as Iraqi militias claimed to have launched an attack. The drone was intercepted before crossing into Israeli territory, the military said in a statement. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said its fighters launched a drone attack on a “vital target” in central Israel “in support of the people of Palestine and Lebanon”.
