At least 47 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes on central Gaza overnight into Friday, official news agency Wafa reported. The strikes, which hit the areas of Deir Al Balah, Nuseirat camp and Zuwaida, also injured scores others, according to the report. Local sources said that the bodies and the injured people arrived at Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir Al Balah, with most of the deaths taking place in Nuseirat after several houses were bombed twice.
