The Israeli military confirmed that it struck Hamas senior leadership in Doha. Prior to the strike, measures were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and additional intelligence, the statement read. Preliminary information obtained by Al Arabiya indicated that Hamas’ Chief Negotiator Khalil al-Hayya was killed in the Israeli strike in Qatar.
