Israeli forces have uprooted more than 100 olive trees belonging to Palestinian farmers in the town of Deir Istiya in the occupied West Bank, the Wafa news agency is reporting. The agency reported that 135 olive trees were destroyed in the attack on the town, which lies 15km (9 miles) southwest of Nablus. The destruction comes amid a wave of attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank. On Thursday, Israeli settlers torched and vandalised a mosque in the town.
